We were very sad to learn of Christina’s death. Please accept our sincere sympathies.

It is with shock and disbelief that we read Kevin’s note about the sudden death
of Christina.
We were taken unawares and can imagine the grief to all. Over the years one takes for granted that everyone fits nicely in place forever. Once more we find that this is not the case. I have forwarded the sad news to all over here and want to express the real grief and sorrow that we all experienced here. Please accept my deepest condolences on the passing of Christina. Whilst I never met her in person, when I did own a Volvo, it was a 144S and I had a number of chats with Christina on the telephone about the car and the club. She struck me as someone incredibly patient, kind, knowledgeable and supportive. The world needs more people like her.

I had met Christina at a number of V.E.C national meetings and always found her enthusiastic and approachable, even though she was still having to organise aspects which were cropping up (as they do at meetings!).
