The International Classic Motor Show – 27th, 28th & 29th October 2006

Volvo Enthusiasts Club Stand at the NEC Birmingham.
This year the Volvo Enthusiasts Club tried to fully comply with the ‘Theme of the Show’ as set by the Organisers  - ‘Designs of the Decade’.
         To show this theme to its best it was decided that we would use the idea of car parked outside an American Drive-in and the chosen decade would be 1958-1968 with a Rock & Roll theme.
         Members of the Club dressed in various Rock & Roll attire and an authentic Coffee Bar was set up by our friend Marco.
         Cars exhibited were: 1958 Volvo PV444-08, Colin & May Tatlow, 1962 Volvo P1800, John Seager, 1968 Volvo 131, John Kemp, 1968 Volvo 144s Phil Wells.
         Our thanks to all those Members who manned, built and exhibited their cars on a very successful Stand and all those who came along to see us and give their support.
