Meet The Flintstones at 'Bedrock Volvo'

Our Club Stand at this years Bristol Classic Car Show saw Members of the Club Team dressed as the cast of The Flintstones with a painted backdrop showing ‘Bedrock Volvo Motors’. Cars on display were Colin & May Tatlow’s beautiful 1957 Volvo PV444.08. Phil Edwards’s 1978 Volvo 244DL which was previously owned by a British Diplomat in the USA and returned to the UK on the Cunard QE2 and Matt Stadden’s (Christina’s Car) 1995 Volvo 850 T5 Estate.

The display covered Volvo production over the past 50 years of Volvo in Great Britain (1958-2008) from first car Volvo exhibited at the London Motor Show in 1957, a Volvo PV444 to the fore runner of all modern Volvo’s and also its return to racing the Volvo 850T5 Estate plus the ever popular Volvo 240.

Date For The Diary: 30th Bristol Classic Car Show 2009 - 7th/8th February 2009  at the West of England Exhibition Centre, Royal Bath and West Showground, Shepton Mallet.
