The vehicle is completely dismantled with all rust removed
Shell exterior has been professionally stripped with underside, under bonnet and interior sandblasted. The body needs several panels replaced and new sills, lower valance, wing edges, drivers lower door skin and rear inner sections which cost over £1200 are included in the price. However the front and rear floor panels boot floor and several other smaller panels will be needed costing £1000
The engine has been fully professionally restored at a cost exceeding £2500
Gearbox and overdrive have been cleaned and appear good
Rear axle has been paint stripped but needs checking and spraying
Front suspension has been rebuilt with new shocks and all bushes and rebuilt on repainted chassis cross member.
Front discs and calipers have been replaced but caliper hangers and brake backplates are required. Hubs and bearings are good.
Rear brake parts have been repainted but need new seals and servo needs rebuilding
Wiring loom needs replacing but lights appear good
Dashboard needs new upholstery Instruments mostly need replacing. All glass is in good condition and seals are available but somewhat hard
Chrome trim was chromed and is in very reasonable condition including side window frames
Bumpers and grill need rechrome

1978 Volvo C202 Laplander   Registered as Historic Vehicle, hence no tax payment or M.O.T. necessary.
After extensive rebuild, M.O.T,d 06/2016, 06/2017 and last M.O.T. was 06/2018. Mileage since 2 year
rebuild :-1238 miles. In that time the vehicle has proven to be reliable and popular at classic car

This pick up had the following work done during its rebuild.
Body work repair including derusting and treatment before overall paint job.
Reinforcing around step area with stainless bar and ally checker plate.
New hardwood mainly teak trim  and locking lockers fitted on back pick up .
New windscreen and rubber fitted and new interior trim.
New lights fitted front and rear.
Nudge rubbers fitted on front and back bumpers.
New avon range master tyres all round with new tubes and good tread on spare wheel/tyre.
New brake cylinders,pads, flexy pipes fitted. The 2 servo units overhauled along with the Master cylinder And master clutch cylinder.
New clutch plate and pressure plate and cylinder and housing.
New Volvo gearbox. The engine , a B20A is common to many Volvo cars and parts are still available. Engine reconditioned including new rings, water pump, recond, starter and alternator.  
Stainless exhaust fittings, galvanised silencer.
Where possible all bolts/fastenings replaced with stainless steel ones.
Wipers,steering grommets, fuses etc etc to numerous to mention , all replaced.
There is a parts manual and an instruction manual, both in English.
So this vehicle is all up together, a good runner and can only appreciate financially.

The car has been off the road since 2017. I was going to do it up but in reality won't. It should start with jump leads but hasn't been started for some while.
The sunroof does not work along with the rear tailgate gas struts.
There are a number of dents and scratches on the bodywork which I've tried to show in the photos. 
Mileage is approx 130,000 miles although the oddometer no longer works. The car has been in the same family for quite a few years as it was my father in laws car.

It is a 1954 Volvo PV 831 Taxi that I bought about 20 years ago from a Swedish gentleman in Virginia.  I had it painted just after I bought it, and used it to take the kids to ice cream shops after dinner for the first couple of years.  It sat unused for about the last 10 years.  I put new batteries in it last month, and it fired right up.  It drives and stops perfectly.  The under carriage is perfect.  The paint job needs refreshing, the headliner needs replacing, so it is not a show car at the moment, but certainly not a barn find. It's a very easy restoration.
The sign on the rear bumper is the commercial permission number for the Swedish town of Varnamo (about 2 hrs southeast of Gotenburg) last worked as a taxi in the mid 1970's.  At the time of my purchase, it was the only one in USA, and one of only 26 units left in Sweden of 4135 made.
3.7 liters 6 cylinder flathead engine at 90 bhp
3 speed column shift

I'll accept 10,000 USD, for the car delivered to the buyers nearest port.

1996 Volvo 940 dark metallic green, he is the second owner the car which has done approximately 38500 miles from new and is exceptionally clean for its age, I’d be lying if I said there wasn’t a few age related marks but it would not take much to make it 100%, the underside of the car is unbelievable for its age, since owning the car ( four years ) he has had it serviced including the timing belt, the wheels were refurbished and new Avon tyres fitted, it has had the transmission fluid done approximately six months ago, it also comes with the Reg, No: N3RRW. Car is a 2002 2.3 T5 turbo 250bhp, black with lots of extras. Heated elec cream/beige leather seats, spoiler, 7 seat factory conversion in boot, factory sun blinds (couple of hooks broken but mechanisms all fine), Only 1 previous owner (me being 2nd)..
Has service book stamped up to 2015 (120k miles) then all you can see in receipts and more… 2 keys etc etc 
Car starts and drives, clutch and gear box strong but has a knock from engine have been told bottom end and I do not have the money to fix.
 
It sailed through last MOT march 2018.. Too good to scrap really as if new engine fitted would be a fantastic T5. I actually had a replacement engine fitted 2 years ago but bad luck it has let me down after around 20K (replacement engine had 80K ish)...
 
These Volvos are now getting hard to find in this condition.. In fact I don’t think I have seen one of this year this good on the road (took me 12 months to source the exact one I wanted, colour, seats, spec etc)
 
2 tires are good 2 need replacing, alloys need refurb but no buckles, front n/s fog light lens cracked but other than a few very small almost unnoticeable car park dings the bodywork is in very good condition for age, no rust (this is a black car so shows ever little imperfection, polished up it's very nice for its age)
 
Driver seat stitching has come away at the seam but no tears in leather anywhere. I would say interior is in very good condition also. Warning message saying alarm system needs a service?? and message to say bulb needs replacing (which I have) other than that no warning lights showing...
 
Coolant warning light comes on after 3 – 4 hundred miles then needs topping up with about 1/5 litre so there is a slight water leak somewhere….
 
The stereo and all speakers work great apart from one thing an intermittent issue with the button highlights, it will illuminate or not depending on how it feels or if you hit a bump, this is the same with the volume on the steering wheel but they do this in conjunction so I’m guessing a dry joint somewhere.

Also has a Tracker fitted.
 
I don’t think I’ve missed anything and I have tried to be as honest as possible. Apart from the bottom end (which hasn’t been 100% confirmed just what I was told) all issues are minor and just need someone with a bit of Volvo understanding to sort, You can see by the previous MOT there are no real issues with the car……………………….. Also open to a trade?

Has been serviced by Volvo, on time, every year since she was born in 2010. She is Black with Executive Trim

S80 V8, 4.4Litre Engine and rare as they don't do this model anymore and there were only two (at the time anyway) in the UK and my Dad got one of them.

Also, she has plenty of extras including fitted DVD player and a colour screen in the seats, very handy for family or passengers in the back during long trips.

Has built in Sat Nav including for Europe. She comes with her service log and all the gizmos that came with her including the gadget for the wheel nuts.

She has lights everywhere! in the foot panel, at the mirrors, sides etc.. and the Volvo mark on the threshold.

She has a full year of Volvo Assistance, and if the owner continues to get her serviced yearly at a Volvo garage then the Volvo Assistance continues, it goes with the car, not the person. I find this awesome.

1963 P1800  Rare Jensen model This car was purchased in 2005 as a restoration project which was completed over the next couple of years, this included both body work and mechanics being brought to an everyday use standard, essentials working and safe! Since 2015 I have spent in excess of £15,000 to make the car very presentable with new leather upholstery and very tidy under the bonnet. It is not a concourse car but I use it most days in the summer and dry store in the winter.

Genuine Volvo 850 T5-R Auto 1995 M saloon (one of 2000 produced for the Touring Car racing class Volvo needed to produce so they could enter). This is denoted by the original 5 spoke Titan alloys and special badge on the boot. Not to be confused with the later T5R which had the seven spoke alloys.

I’ve owned the car for the last 8 and in that time done very little mileage.  As a guide I had the wheels refurbed 6 years ago and had new Pirelli tyres fitted, these are still on the car with nearly full tread.

It reads 59,000 on the clock however this can’t be verified though as the counters do not work, an easy fix but just never got round to it. In all those years I’ve probably done about 10k in it. 3 owners prior to me and was a genuine Volvo import.

Plus side, the car goes very well and is very quick. It has a strong engine, all is standard and nothing has been mucked about with. Good brakes, tyres etc and the car comes with a large history file of repairs, MOT’s etc.

Desirable and rare as not many left now, low 20’s at the last count. 

Not so plus points.  Gearbox needs looking at, clonks a bit from 1-2. 

Sunroof goes up but doesn’t slide back, Seat adjusters need looking at as sometimes work. Again, both easy fixes.

A few little panel repairs carried out previously etc. and some paint work will be required.  

Generally a good car but a few issues as with any 23 year old car and I’ve been as honest as I can but any genuine Volvo fan will no doubt see the good and bad points in the car.

I’ll be sad to see it go as had great plans for it but time and work just doesn’t allow it. It needs to go to someone who will appreciate it for what it is.

This Volvo 940 estate has been family owned since new, first by my brother up to about 50,000 miles, thereafter by myself & wife up to ~218,000 miles.

It has been the best value for money family car we ever had and served me for 15years + as a band vehicle for my former music activities.

It is no longer needed for family or band use and hence I did not MOT it and took it Statutory off-road earlier this year.


Condition and Known issues

The ABS light has behaved erratically from time to time. However a number of garages noted this at MOT time and tested the ABS on a rolling road: result no problem. My guess is that this is an electrical fault of some kind .e.g. some web sources suggest that the wheel sensors need cleaning. Also on the rare occasions that I have invoked ABS on e.g. ice, it has worked.

The original Volvo radio does not work.

Bodywork: The car has two ‘dents’ at/near wheel arches and the nearside wing (Figure 3 & 4) recently perforated with a corrosion hole (Figure 5).

The functioning of the boot-seat for young children was messed-up by an incompetent garage who did not know how to get the spare tyre out.

Some parts of plastic trim inside have become age-brittle and prone to crack under stress.

In 2016 I had to replace the driver’s seat belt stalk to secure MOT.

Also in 2016, it had a new engine temperature probe.

There has been no need for engine work other than routine maintenance (oil/filters / belt changes).

It has had two alternators and one starter motor change and a radiator change.

A few years ago it had a number of new disc brakes and pads.

This is the car that was the main dealers (Taylors of
Hinckley) show car in 1991. My father bought it and I inherited it back
in 2002, it has done 107048 miles. The body work had a special white
undercoat to give it extra protection. It has had the rear shock
absorbers & rear brake system, radiator, water pump and exhaust
replaced. The front valance needs welding work done. I am selling for
spares or repair for £300 as I am getting to old for doing my own
maintenance . It has been serviced every 6000 miles and  has been kept
in either a garage (my fathers) or  my own car port . It has no M.O.T or
tax ( both have just run out ) and has a SORN notice on it. I hope it

For sale is my 1995 Volvo 480 Celebration 2.0 litre automatic. It is in excellent condition inside and out. There are no dents, scratches or leaks. New tail lamps from Germany were fitted last year and the wheels were refurbished. Also the rear wheel arches have recently been professionally repaired. Full service history and MOT until Nov 2017. The odometer unfortunately is not working. The mileage is around 123,000 miles. This car is now quite rare according to the DVLA website. There are only 15 left on the road. The grille was removed as the bonnet catch needed to be fixed, and just needs to be refitted.
